Gold and silver prices drop slightly



KATHMANDU: The prices of gold and silver have declined slightly in the local market today.

According to the Federation Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, the price of gold has dropped by Rs 500 per tola, bringing it down to Rs 169,900 per tola from Monday’s rate of Rs 170,400 per tola.

Similarly, the price of silver has decreased by Rs 15 per tola and is now being traded at Rs 1,970 per tola.

In the international market, the price of gold is currently at US$ 2,898 per ounce.
