KATHMANDU: Former CPN-UML leader Bhim Rawal stated that his fight against corruption, injustice, and oppression will not be weakened by his expulsion from the party.

Speaking to reporters at a tea reception organized by Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal in Kathmandu on Saturday, marking National Unity Day, Rawal criticized the UML leadership for what he described as a dictatorial move to expel him. He emphasized that his determination to raise the flag of patriotism and combat corruption remains unwavering despite the party’s decision.

Rawal alleged that the UML leadership could not tolerate his resistance to arbitrary decisions and corruption, which he claims are against national interests. He also dismissed accusations labeling him a monarchist as part of a campaign to defame him.

He vowed to strengthen the “Motherland Awakening Campaign” and expressed readiness to collaborate with patriotic forces. Rawal also stated that, if necessary, he would work with others to create an alternative political force for the country’s progress.
