DSP Madhu Nepal arrested over polygamy case



KATHMANDU: Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Madhu Nepal has been arrested in connection with a polygamy case. The Rupandehi District Police Office apprehended Nepal, who was serving in Nawalparasi East.

According to Rupandehi Police Chief SP Pradeep Bahadur Kshetri, the case was filed based on a complaint lodged by Nepal’s first wife.

Nepal is currently in custody, with the court granting a three-day extension to allow for further investigation.

Police have stated that additional evidence related to the polygamy case is being collected, and efforts are underway to locate Nepal’s second wife.
