Weather to remain mostly clear today

KATHMANDU: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has reported that no major weather system is currently influencing Nepal, keeping conditions generally stable across the country.

Most regions are expected to experience mainly clear skies, although hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces may see partly cloudy conditions this afternoon. Clear weather is also forecast nationwide tonight.

In the Kathmandu Valley, the minimum temperature was recorded at 6.0 degrees Celsius at 5:45 this morning, signaling a cold start to the day. The maximum temperature is expected to range between 17 and 19 degrees Celsius.

Authorities advise residents, especially in the Valley’s higher and open areas, to prepare for chilly mornings and evenings as winter conditions gradually intensify.
