Gold price surges by Rs 2,900 per tola in Nepal



KATHMANDU: The price of gold in Nepal has surged by Rs 2,900 per tola on Monday, continuing its upward trend.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold has been fixed at Rs 241,500 per tola for the day. On Sunday, it was traded at Rs 238,600 per tola.

Gold prices have been climbing steadily for the past five days.

Meanwhile, the price of silver has also increased. It rose by Rs 50 per tola to reach Rs 3,065, up from Rs 3,015 the previous day.
