NRB releases today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the foreign exchange rates for today (Monday).

According to NRB, the buying rate for one US dollar has been set at Rs 141.56, while the selling rate stands at Rs 142.16. Similarly, the buying rate for one Euro is Rs 163.73 and the selling rate Rs 164.42. One British Pound Sterling is valued at Rs 186.31 for buying and Rs 187.10 for selling, while the Swiss Franc stands at Rs 175.82 and Rs 176.56, respectively.

The buying and selling rates for one Australian dollar are Rs 91.93 and Rs 92.32, respectively. For the Canadian dollar, the rates are Rs 100.77 (buying) and Rs 101.19 (selling). The Singapore dollar is priced at Rs 108.78 for buying and Rs 109.24 for selling.

Similarly, 10 Japanese yen are valued at Rs 9.23 (buying) and Rs 9.27 (selling). One Chinese yuan trades at Rs 19.87 and Rs 19.96, while one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 37.75 for buying and Rs 37.91 for selling. The Qatari riyal stands at Rs 38.84 (buying) and Rs 39.00 (selling).

According to the central bank, the Thai baht trades at Rs 4.37 (buying) and Rs 4.39 (selling); the UAE dirham at Rs 38.54 and Rs 38.71; and the Malaysian ringgit at Rs 33.90 and Rs 34.04.

Likewise, 100 South Korean won are valued at Rs 9.72 (buying) and Rs 9.76 (selling), while the Swedish krona stands at Rs 14.85 and Rs 14.92, and the Danish krone at Rs 21.92 and Rs 22.02, respectively.

NRB has also set the rate for one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 18.20 (buying) and Rs 18.28 (selling); one Kuwaiti dinar at Rs 461.14 and Rs 463.09; one Bahraini dinar at Rs 375.48 and Rs 377.07; and one Omani rial at Rs 367.67 and Rs 369.23.

The exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160.00 (buying) and Rs 160.15 (selling).

NRB noted that these exchange rates are subject to change as needed, and rates set by commercial banks may vary. The latest updates can be accessed on the central bank’s official website.
