Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has set the foreign currency exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 141.76, and the selling rate at Rs 142.36.

The buying rate of one European euro is Rs 164.67, and the selling rate is Rs 165.37. Similarly, the buying rate of one UK pound sterling is Rs 189.58, and the selling rate is Rs 190.39. The Swiss franc is being traded at a buying rate of Rs 177.17 and a selling rate of Rs 177.75.

The buying and selling rates of one Australian dollar have been fixed at Rs 93.50 and Rs 93.90, respectively. The Canadian dollar is set at Rs 101.61 for buying and Rs 102.04 for selling. Likewise, the Singapore dollar is fixed at Rs 109.40 (buying) and Rs 109.86 (selling).

For 10 Japanese yen, the buying rate is Rs 9.28 and the selling rate is Rs 9.32. The Chinese yuan is fixed at Rs 19.90 for buying and Rs 19.99 for selling. The Saudi Arabian riyal is set at Rs 37.79 (buying) and Rs 37.95 (selling), while the Qatari riyal stands at Rs 38.89 and Rs 39.06, respectively.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.35 and the selling rate is Rs 4.37. The UAE dirham is fixed at Rs 38.59 for buying and Rs 38.76 for selling. The Malaysian ringgit is being traded at Rs 33.62 (buying) and Rs 33.77 (selling).

The rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 9.99 (buying) and Rs 10.03 (selling). The Swedish kronor is at Rs 14.99 (buying) and Rs 15.06 (selling), while the Danish kronor is at Rs 22.05 and Rs 22.15, respectively.

The buying and selling rates for other currencies are as follows: one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 18.22 and Rs 18.30, one Kuwaiti dinar at Rs 464.03 and Rs 465.99, one Bahraini dinar at Rs 376 and Rs 377.59, and one Omani rial at Rs 368.19 and Rs 369.75. The buying rate of one hundred Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160, and the selling rate at Rs 160.15.

The Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. Commercial banks may set slightly different rates, and the most updated rates can be found on the central bank’s official website.
