NC holding office bearers’ meeting today as well

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) is continuing its meeting of office bearers and former office bearers today, after Thursday’s session concluded without giving all participants the opportunity to speak.

NC Spokesperson Prakash Sharan Mahat stated, “Yesterday, there was not enough time for all the office bearers and former office bearers to express their views. The meeting will resume today at 1 p.m.”

According to Mahat, Thursday’s discussions centered around the current political environment and the party’s role within it.

“Basically, we discussed the current situation in the country, recent developments, and the challenges they present,” he said. “We focused on how to move forward, strengthen democratic values, foster a positive and confident political atmosphere, and protect the country from weakening.”

Today’s meeting will also finalize the agenda for the upcoming Central Committee meeting, scheduled for October 12.
