China optimistic about swift restoration of peace in Nepal



BEIJING: China has expressed optimism that peace and order will be restored in Nepal at the earliest.

Speaking at a regular press briefing at the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs today, spokesperson Lin Jian said the longstanding friendship between China and Nepal.

He stated that all sectors in Nepal would address internal matters appropriately and that China expects stability to return soon.

Lin highlighted the importance of maintaining strong bilateral relations, noting that China has always supported Nepal in managing its internal affairs peacefully and constructively.

He reaffirmed China’s commitment to monitoring developments in Nepal while encouraging dialogue and reconciliation among all stakeholders to ensure national stability.
