Dr. Tosima Karki, Gopal Hamal, and Harka Sampang urged to join Gen-Z and Army talks

KATHMANDU: Social media users have called for prominent leaders, including Dr. Tosima Karki of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, Dhangadhi Mayor Gopal Hamal, and Dharan Mayor Harka Sampang, to participate in discussions between the Gen-Z movement and the Nepali Army on the country’s political future.

Dr. Karki had expressed support for the Gen-Z movement but opposed vandalism and arson of public property. She stated she is ready to assist if the state requests her involvement to address national issues.

Harka Sampang, known for participatory development initiatives in Dharan, emphasized that decisions about the country should not be made solely in Kathmandu.

Gopal Hamal, elected as Dhangadhi Mayor, has been credited for introducing new approaches in infrastructure and overall city development. Many believe his participation in the talks could be valuable for shaping solutions to ongoing political challenges.
