Nepal drawn in Group B for ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Asia Qualifiers



KATHMANDU: Nepal have been placed in Group B of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Asia Qualifiers, where they will compete against Kuwait and Japan for a chance to advance toward the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, to be jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka.

The qualifiers are set to begin from October 8 to 17.

The Asia Qualifier has been divided into three groups:

  • Group A: United Arab Emirates (UAE), Malaysia, Qatar
  • Group B: Nepal, Kuwait, Japan
  • Group C: Oman (hosts), Papua New Guinea (PNG), Samoa

The top two teams from each group will qualify for the Super Six round.

Following that, the top three teams at the end of the Super Six stage will secure qualification for the 2026 T20 World Cup.
