Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the official foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is fixed at Rs 136.78, while the selling rate is Rs 137.44.

The euro is being traded at Rs 160.08 for buying and Rs 160.78 for selling. The buying rate for one British pound sterling is Rs 185.84 and the selling rate is Rs 186.66. One Swiss franc is being bought at Rs 171.68 and sold at Rs 172.44.

The Australian dollar stands at Rs 89.22 for buying and Rs 89.61 for selling, while the Canadian dollar is traded at Rs 99.86 for buying and Rs 100.30 for selling. The Singapore dollar has a buying rate of Rs 107.76 and a selling rate of Rs 108.23.

Among Asian currencies, the buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.33 and the selling rate is Rs 9.37. The Chinese yuan is priced at Rs 19.05 for buying and Rs 19.13 for selling.

The Saudi Arabian riyal has a buying rate of Rs 36.47 and selling rate of Rs 36.63, while the Qatari riyal is being bought at Rs 37.53 and sold at Rs 37.69.

Similarly, the Thai baht is being exchanged at Rs 4.18 for buying and Rs 4.20 for selling. The UAE dirham stands at Rs 37.24 and Rs 37.40 for buying and selling, respectively.

The Malaysian ringgit is being traded at Rs 32.18 for buying and Rs 32.32 for selling. The buying rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 9.54 and the selling rate is Rs 9.58. The Swedish kronor is priced at Rs 14.35 for buying and Rs 14.41 for selling. The Danish krone has a buying rate of Rs 21.45 and selling rate of Rs 21.55.

Additionally, the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar is Rs 17.42 and the selling rate is Rs 17.50. The Kuwaiti dinar is being traded at Rs 447.86 for buying and Rs 449.82 for selling.

The Bahraini dinar stands at Rs 362.85 for buying and Rs 364.45 for selling, while the Omani rial has a buying rate of Rs 355.28 and selling rate of Rs 356.84. The exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees has been set at Rs 160.00 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling.

The central bank has noted that these rates are subject to change and may be revised as needed. The exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ, and the most up-to-date figures can be found on the official website of Nepal Rastra Bank.
