Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has released the official foreign exchange rates for Saturday. As per the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is set at Rs. 136.30, while the selling rate is Rs. 136.90.

The euro is being exchanged at Rs. 153.39 for buying and Rs. 154.07 for selling. The pound sterling is priced at Rs. 180.97 and Rs. 181.77 respectively. Likewise, the Swiss franc stands at Rs. 164.09 for buying and Rs. 164.81 for selling.

Among other major currencies, the Australian dollar is being traded at Rs. 87.27 (buying) and Rs. 87.66 (selling), the Canadian dollar at Rs. 97.94 and Rs. 98.38, and the Singapore dollar at Rs. 105.05 and Rs. 105.51.

In the Asian market, the buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs. 9.39, with the selling rate at Rs. 9.43. The Chinese yuan is quoted at Rs. 18.82 (buying) and Rs. 18.91 (selling).

The Saudi Arabian riyal is trading at Rs. 36.34 for buying and Rs. 36.50 for selling. Similarly, the Qatari riyal is valued at Rs. 37.39 and Rs. 37.56, while the Thai baht is exchanged at Rs. 4.13 and Rs. 4.15.

The UAE dirham is set at Rs. 37.11 (buying) and Rs. 37.27 (selling), and the Malaysian ringgit at Rs. 31.72 and Rs. 31.86 respectively. The rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs. 9.74 for buying and Rs. 9.78 for selling.

From the European and Gulf currencies, the Swedish kronor is trading at Rs. 14.05 (buying) and Rs. 14.11 (selling), while the Danish kronor stands at Rs. 20.56 and Rs. 20.65. The Hong Kong dollar is being bought at Rs. 17.52 and sold at Rs. 17.60.

The Kuwaiti dinar’s buying rate is listed at Rs. 444.35, although the selling rate appears to contain an error and may need correction. The Bahraini dinar is priced at Rs. 361.52 for buying and Rs. 363.11 for selling, and the Omani rial at Rs. 354.05 and Rs. 355.61 respectively.

Additionally, the buying rate for 100 Indian rupees is set at Rs. 160, with a selling rate of Rs. 160.15.
