Maoist Center delegation arrives in Chongqing at CPC invitation

KATHMANDU: A 20-member delegation from Maoist Center has arrived in Chongqing, China, at the invitation of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

The delegation is led by Maoist Center Secretary Dinanath Sharma and includes central committee members Lekhnath Neupane and Ramdeep Acharya, along with representatives from the party’s International Department, School Department, Workers and Intellectuals Organization, and its student wing, ANNFSU (Revolutionary).

The Nepali delegation was welcomed upon arrival in Chongqing on Wednesday by Wang Tianliang, a senior official from the Chongqing Municipal Party School of the CPC.

Chongqing, a major economic and industrial hub in southwest China, is one of the four centrally administered municipalities in the country. The visit is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen party-to-party ties and promote bilateral exchanges between Nepal’s Maoist Center and the Chinese Communist Party.

The visit is expected to include discussions on party training, ideological exchanges, and insights into Chongqing’s development model.
