JSP Nepal to add more office bearers and executive members

KATHMANDU: Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal has decided to expand its central leadership by adding more office bearers and executive committee members.

The party’s Central Committee meeting recently amended Article 29, Clause 3 of its Statute 2080 to make room for these additions, according to Purna Basnet, Head of the Publicity and Publication Department.

As part of this revision, the party will include two more vice-chairmen, one general secretary, and 11 central executive members. The expansion is aimed at ensuring greater inclusivity in terms of caste, community, and gender representation within the leadership structure.

Basnet further clarified that the Central Executive Committee will now consist of the Federal Council Chairperson, Central Committee Chairperson, Senior Leader, Co-Chairperson, Vice-Chairpersons, General Secretary, Deputy General Secretary, Secretary, Treasurer, and 21 members elected from the Central Committee.
