Gold price rises to Rs 169,600 per tola



KATHMANDU: The price of gold in the local market has surged to Rs 169,600 per tola today, marking an increase of Rs 1,400 from the previous day’s rate of Rs 168,200, according to the Federation of Gold and Silver Dealers Association.

Similarly, the price of silver has also risen, reaching Rs 1,975 per tola, up from Rs 1,960 on Sunday.

Trends directly influence the fluctuations in gold and silver prices in Nepal in the international market, where gold is currently being traded at approximately USD 2,879 per ounce.
