Worker injured as Naxal Bhatbhateni building collapses during demolition



KATHMANDU: A worker was injured on Sunday when parts of the Bhatbhateni departmental store building in Naxal collapsed during demolition work.

The store, which had been vandalized and set on fire on September 9, is currently being dismantled. During the process, debris from the damaged structure fell, injuring workers at the site.

The injured individuals have been rescued and taken to the hospital for treatment. Police have reached the scene, and traffic movement around the Naxal-Bhatbhateni area has been affected.
