Nepali Ambassador Lamsal presents credentials to Iraqi President



BAGHDAD: Nepal’s Ambassador to Iraq Ghanashyam Lamsal presented his letters of credence to Iraqi President Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid during a special ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in Baghdad on Wednesday.

On the occasion, Ambassador Lamsal conveyed the greetings and best wishes of President Ramchandra Paudel for President Rashid’s good health, happiness, and for the continued progress and prosperity of the people of Iraq, according to the Embassy of Nepal in Kuwait.

In response, President Rashid congratulated Ambassador Lamsal on his appointment and extended his best wishes for President Paudel’s well-being and for the prosperity of the Nepali people.

Ambassador Lamsal also serves as Nepal’s resident ambassador to Kuwait, with concurrent accreditation to Iraq.
