Paras Khadka urges Gen-Z protesters to focus on building a ‘New Nepal’



KATHMANDU: Former national cricket captain and current Secretary of the Cricket Association of Nepal, Paras Khadka, has called for restraint during the ongoing Gen-Z protests.

In a social media statement, Khadka said the public has already achieved a victory in the movement and urged citizens to channel their energy into creating a new Nepal.

He emphasized turning anger and frustration into positive thinking and concrete plans. “Now is the time to transform this anger into ideas, strategies, and actions to build the country. There is no better moment to prove that we are different from previous generations,” he wrote.

Khadka appealed to all protesters and citizens to act with discipline and unity in shaping Nepal’s future.
