Arson at Supreme Court, Special Court and Kathmandu District Court



KATHMANDU: During the ongoing protests by the “Gen Z” movement, arson was reported at the Supreme Court premises. Vehicles inside the court compound were vandalized and set on fire, according to Supreme Court’s joint spokesperson Nirajan Pandey.

Protesters also attacked the Office of the Attorney General, carrying out vandalism and arson. Similar incidents occurred at the Special Court and the Kathmandu District Court.

Case files from the Attorney General’s Office, Special Court, and District Court were reportedly taken outside and set ablaze.
