Gen-Z protest: Prime Minister Oli calls all-party meeting

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has called an all-party meeting amid mounting political pressure following nationwide protests led by the Gen-Z movement.

According to officials, the meeting is scheduled to take place at 6 PM today. The Prime Minister is expected to discuss the ongoing unrest, public outrage over government actions, and possible steps toward de-escalation.

The call comes as opposition parties and civil society intensify demands for accountability and the Prime Minister’s resignation following Monday’s violent crackdown on demonstrators.
