Gen-Z protesters set fire near Prachanda’s residence



LALITPUR: A  group of Gen-Z protesters set fire near the security post close to the residence of Maoist Centre Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal in Khumaltar, Lalitpur, around 9:30 AM Tuesday.

Meanwhile, protesters were also seen near the residence of Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba in Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu.

Since Monday, the Gen-Z generation has staged nationwide demonstrations against corruption and the government’s ban on social media platforms.

Some protesters have expressed intentions on social media to target the homes of political leaders during their demonstrations.
