Nepal Rastra Bank publishes today’s foreign exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has published the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is Rs 139.96, while the selling rate is Rs 140.56.

The buying rate for one European euro is Rs 162.94, and the selling rate is Rs 163.64. Similarly, one UK pound sterling is being bought at Rs 188.11 and sold at Rs 188.92. The buying and selling rates for one Swiss franc are Rs 173.23 and Rs 173.97 respectively.

One Australian dollar is being bought at Rs 91.30 and sold at Rs 91.69, while one Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs 101.93 and sold at Rs 102.36. The buying rate for one Singapore dollar is Rs 108.94, and the selling rate is Rs 109.40.

For Japanese yen, the buying rate for 10 units is Rs 9.47, and the selling rate is Rs 9.51. The buying and selling rates for one Chinese yuan are Rs 19.48 and Rs 19.57 respectively.

The buying rate for one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 37.29 and the selling rate is Rs 37.45. One Qatari riyal is being bought at Rs 38.40 and sold at Rs 38.56. For one Thai baht, the buying rate is Rs 4.32 and the selling rate is Rs 4.34.

Likewise, the buying and selling rates for one UAE dirham are Rs 38.11 and Rs 38.37 respectively, while one Malaysian ringgit is being bought at Rs 33.01 and sold at Rs 33.15.

The buying rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 10.06 and the selling rate is Rs 10.11. One Swedish kronor is being bought at Rs 14.58 and sold at Rs 14.64. The buying and selling rates for one Danish krone are Rs 21.83 and Rs 21.92 respectively. One Hong Kong dollar is being bought at Rs 17.83 and sold at Rs 17.91.

The central bank has set the buying and selling rates for one Kuwaiti dinar at Rs 458.04 and Rs 460.01 respectively, for one Bahraini dinar at Rs 371.24 and Rs 372.83, and for one Omani rial at Rs 363.52 and Rs 365.01. The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees is Rs 160.00 and the selling rate is Rs 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates are subject to revision at any time if needed. It also noted that commercial banks may offer slightly different rates, and the latest figures can be accessed through the central bank’s official website.
