Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has published the exchange rates of foreign currencies for today (Monday).

While the exchange rate of the US dollar has remained stable, the value of several other currencies—including the Australian dollar, euro, pound sterling, and dinar—has slightly decreased.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar today is NPR 136.71, and the selling rate is NPR 137.31. This is the same as yesterday’s rate.

Today, the buying rate of one euro stands at NPR 155.78, and the selling rate is NPR 156.46. Yesterday, the buying rate was NPR 156.13, while the selling rate was NPR 156.81.

Similarly, the buying rate of one pound sterling today is NPR 184.90, and the selling rate is NPR 185.71. The day before, those rates were NPR 185.14 and NPR 185.95 respectively.

As for the Australian dollar, the buying rate today is NPR 88.76, and the selling rate is NPR 89.15. Yesterday’s figures were NPR 88.78 and NPR 89.17.

The buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar today is NPR 445.45, and the selling rate is NPR 447.41. These are slightly lower than yesterday’s rates of NPR 446.07 and NPR 448.03.

Meanwhile, the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar is NPR 362.63, and the selling rate is NPR 364.22. On the previous day, these rates were NPR 362.64 and NPR 364.23.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised as needed, depending on market conditions. It has also clarified that the rates set by commercial banks may differ, and the latest updates can be found on the central bank’s official website.
