Weather to remain mostly clear across the country



KATHMANDU: The country is currently experiencing the effects of western and local winds, along with partial influence from moisture-laden air entering from the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

This afternoon, weather conditions are expected to be partly to generally cloudy in hilly areas, while most other regions will remain clear.

The Division has forecast light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in some hilly and mountainous areas. Light snowfall is also possible in a few mountainous regions.

Tonight, hilly areas are likely to remain partly cloudy, while the weather in the rest of the country will stay clear.

There is a chance of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at one or two locations in the hills, as well as isolated light rain and snowfall in mountainous areas.
