Rain brings relief from pollution in Kathmandu after prolonged dry spell



KATHMANDU: After a prolonged dry period, rainfall was recorded in various parts of the Kathmandu Valley on Wednesday, including areas around Pepsicola and Tribhuvan International Airport.

The showers have brought a sense of relief to valley residents, who have been suffering from high levels of air pollution in recent weeks. With the rain, air quality is expected to improve significantly.
