KATHMANDU: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology’s Weather Forecasting Division has reported that the country is currently under the partial influence of westerly and local winds. At present, weather conditions are mostly clear nationwide.
However, by this afternoon, the Himalayan region is expected to become partly to generally cloudy, with chances of light snowfall in some areas.
Similarly, the hilly regions may also see partly to generally cloudy skies with the possibility of light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning.
The Terai region is likely to experience similar conditions, with a chance of light to moderate rain along with thunder and lightning in some places, according to the Division.
By evening, the mountainous region is forecast to remain partly to generally cloudy, with light snowfall possible at a few locations.
