Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has published the foreign exchange rates for Wednesday.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs. 137.73, while the selling rate stands at Rs. 138.33.

Similarly, the buying rate of one euro is Rs. 150.62, and the selling rate is Rs. 151.28. For the UK pound sterling, the buying rate is Rs. 175.87 and the selling rate is Rs. 176.63. The Swiss franc is being bought at Rs. 161.03 and sold at Rs. 161.73.

The Australian dollar has a buying rate of Rs. 83.20 and a selling rate of Rs. 83.56. Likewise, the Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs. 97.06 and sold at Rs. 97.49.

The buying rate of one Singapore dollar is Rs. 101.99, while the selling rate is Rs. 102.43. The rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs. 9.38 for buying and Rs. 9.42 for selling. One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs. 18.77 and sold at Rs. 18.85.

In the case of Gulf currencies, the buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs. 36.69 and the selling rate is Rs. 36.85, while one Qatari riyal is being bought at Rs. 37.78 and sold at Rs. 37.95.

The buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs. 3.96 and the selling rate is Rs. 3.98. Similarly, the UAE dirham is being bought at Rs. 37.50 and sold at Rs. 37.66, while the Malaysian ringgit is bought at Rs. 30.67 and sold at Rs. 30.80.

For other Asian currencies, the buying rate of 100 South Korean won is Rs. 9.30, while the selling rate is Rs. 9.34. One Swedish kronor is being bought at Rs. 13.72 and sold at Rs. 13.78, while one Danish kronor is bought at Rs. 20.18 and sold at Rs. 20.27.

Among other major currencies, one Hong Kong dollar is being bought at Rs. 17.73 and sold at Rs. 17.80. The buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar is Rs. 447.19, with a selling rate of Rs. 449.14. The Bahraini dinar is being bought at Rs. 365.38 and sold at Rs. 366.97.

Meanwhile, the buying rate of one Omani rial is Rs. 357.76 and the selling rate is Rs. 359.32. The exchange rate for one hundred Indian rupees has been set at Rs. 160 for buying and Rs. 160.15 for selling.

These rates are based on the official figures released by Nepal Rastra Bank and are subject to fluctuations depending on global currency movements.
