Western low-pressure system continues to affect weather



KATHMANDU: The partial impact of the western low-pressure system remains over Nepal, affecting weather conditions across the country.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather is currently partly cloudy in the hilly regions, while the rest of the country remains mostly clear.

In the next 24 hours, hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces will see partly to generally cloudy skies, whereas other regions will experience partly cloudy to mainly clear weather.

There is a possibility of light snowfall in one or two places in the high hills and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces. Additionally, light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is expected in one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi and Bagmati.
