KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has published the exchange rates for foreign currencies for today.

Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for Sunday, with the buying rate of one US dollar set at Rs 138.70 and the selling rate at Rs 139.30.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one euro has been set at Rs 150.49, while the selling rate stands at Rs 151.14. Similarly, the buying rate of one UK pound sterling is Rs 179.17, with a selling rate of Rs 179.95.

The Swiss franc has been valued at Rs 157.76 for buying and Rs 158.44 for selling. The Australian dollar is being traded at Rs 87.40 for buying and Rs 87.78 for selling, while the Canadian dollar has a buying rate of Rs 96.91 and a selling rate of Rs 97.33. The buying rate for one Singapore dollar is Rs 104.27, with the selling rate set at Rs 104.72.

For Asian currencies, the buying rate of 10 Japanese yen has been set at Rs 9.40, while the selling rate is Rs 9.44. One Chinese yuan is being traded at Rs 19.17 for buying and Rs 19.25 for selling.

The buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 36.97, with the selling rate at Rs 37.13, while the Qatari riyal has a buying rate of Rs 38.05 and a selling rate of Rs 38.22.

The exchange rate for one Thai baht has been set at Rs 4.12 for buying and Rs 4.14 for selling. The UAE dirham is being traded at Rs 37.76 for buying and Rs 37.93 for selling.

The Malaysian ringgit has been valued at Rs 31.42 for buying and Rs 31.55 for selling. The buying rate of 100 South Korean won is Rs 9.59, while the selling rate is Rs 9.63. The Swedish kronor has been fixed at Rs 13.72 for buying and Rs 13.78 for selling, while the Danish kronor is being traded at Rs 20.18 for buying and Rs 20.26 for selling.

Among Gulf currencies, the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar has been set at Rs 17.85, while the selling rate stands at Rs 17.92.

The Kuwaiti dinar has a buying rate of Rs 450.25 and a selling rate of Rs 452.20. The Bahraini dinar is being traded at Rs 367.92 for buying and Rs 369.51 for selling. The Omani rial has been valued at Rs 360.27 for buying and Rs 361.83 for selling.

Meanwhile, the buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160, while the selling rate stands at Rs 160.15. The central bank has stated that the exchange rates are subject to change as needed, and commercial banks may set their own rates. The latest updates will be available on Nepal Rastra Bank’s official website.
