15th International Invitational Itahari Gold Cup to begin on Feb 15

SUNSARI: The 15th International Invitational Control Lubricants Itahari Gold Cup will kick off on February 15, 2025.

Santa Bahadur Dumjan, President of the organizing Rastriya Jagriti Club, said that the tournament will run from February 15 to 22.

The event will take place at the Itahari Stadium and will feature eight participating clubs.

The competing teams include Rastriya Jagriti Club, United Kharsang Football Club, Sagarmatha Youth Club Morang, New Road Club Kathmandu, Machhindra Football Club Kathmandu, Kakadbhitta Football Training Center Jhapa, Church Boys United, and Dharan Football Club.

The winning team will receive a trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 1 million, while the runner-up will be awarded Rs. 500,000.

Chairman Dumjan also shared that individual awards will be presented, including Rs. 100,000 for the best player in each category, Rs. 10,000 for the ‘Man of the Match’ of each game, and Rs. 20,000 each for the best goalkeeper, best defender, best midfielder, best striker, and best coach.

The player who scores the most goals will receive a cash prize of Rs. 25,000.
