Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Rastra Bank has released Thursday’s foreign currency exchange rates.

The US dollar, which had declined on Wednesday, has reached a new record high today, surpassing the previous peak set two days ago.

While the US dollar continues to maintain its record high, the values of some foreign currencies, including the euro, pound, and Australian dollar, have decreased today.

On the other hand, certain currencies, such as the Bahraini and Kuwaiti dinars, have become more expensive.

According to the exchange rates published by the Nepal Rastra Bank, the buying rate for one US dollar today is 137 rupees 06 paisa, and the selling rate is 137 rupees 66 paisa.

This represents the highest transaction price ever recorded for the US dollar. Yesterday, the buying rate was 136 rupees 85 paisa, and the selling rate was 137 rupees 45 paisa.

For other currencies, today’s exchange rates show the buying rate of one euro at 141 rupees 18 paisa and the selling rate at 141 rupees 80 paisa.

Yesterday, the buying rate for the euro was 142 rupees 45 paisa, and the selling rate was 143 rupees 08 paisa.

The buying rate for one British pound today is 169 rupees 60 paisa, and the selling rate is 170 rupees 35 paisa, compared to yesterday’s rates of 171 rupees 60 paisa for buying and 172 rupees 36 paisa for selling.

The buying rate for one Australian dollar is 85 rupees 07 paisa, and the selling rate is 85 rupees 44 paisa, down from yesterday’s rates of 85 rupees 91 paisa and 86 rupees 29 paisa, respectively.

The buying rate for one Kuwaiti dinar is 444 rupees 34 paisa, with a selling rate of 446 rupees 28 paisa.

Yesterday, the buying rate for the Kuwaiti dinar was 443 rupees 93 paisa, and the selling rate was 445 rupees 88 paisa.

Additionally, the buying rate for one Bahraini dinar today is 363 rupees 55 paisa, and the selling rate is 365 rupees 15 paisa.

Yesterday, the buying rate was 363 rupees 03 paisa, and the selling rate was 364 rupees 62 paisa.
