Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has published the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been fixed at Rs. 141.74, while the selling rate is set at Rs. 142.34.

Similarly, the buying rate for one Euro is Rs. 165.25, and the selling rate is Rs. 165.95. For the UK pound sterling, the buying rate is Rs. 190.19 and the selling rate is Rs. 190.81. The Swiss franc is being bought at Rs. 177.55 and sold at Rs. 178.30.

The Australian dollar has a buying rate of Rs. 93.38 and a selling rate of Rs. 93.77. The Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs. 101.56 and sold at Rs. 101.99. For the Singapore dollar, the buying and selling rates are Rs. 109.59 and Rs. 110.05, respectively.

The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs. 9.39, while the selling rate is Rs. 9.43. One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs. 19.91 and sold at Rs. 19.99. The Saudi Arabian riyal has a buying rate of Rs. 37.79 and a selling rate of Rs. 37.95, whereas the Qatari riyal stands at Rs. 38.89 for buying and Rs. 39.05 for selling.

The central bank has fixed the Thai baht at Rs. 4.36 for buying and Rs. 4.37 for selling. The UAE dirham is being bought at Rs. 38.59 and sold at Rs. 38.75. The Malaysian ringgit has a buying rate of Rs. 33.63 and a selling rate of Rs. 33.77. Similarly, 100 South Korean won is being traded at Rs. 10.03 for buying and Rs. 10.07 for selling.

The Swedish krona has a buying rate of Rs. 15.10 and a selling rate of Rs. 15.16, while the Danish krone is being bought at Rs. 22.13 and sold at Rs. 22.23.

According to the National Bank, the buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar is Rs. 18.21 and the selling rate is Rs. 18.29. One Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs. 462.70 and sold at Rs. 464.65. The Bahraini dinar stands at Rs. 375.99 for buying and Rs. 377.58 for selling. Similarly, the buying rate for one Omani rial is Rs. 368.14, while the selling rate is Rs. 369.70.

Additionally, the exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs. 160 for buying and Rs. 160.15 for selling.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time, depending on market conditions. Commercial banks may also set their own rates, which can differ from the central bank’s figures. The updated rates are available on the official website of the central bank.
