135 injured being treated at Civil Service Hospital

KATHMANDU: The Civil Service Hospital in New Baneshwar is treating 135 people injured during the Gen-Z protests.

According to the hospital’s Executive Director, Dr. Mohan Chandra Regmi, three of the injured have died during treatment, and more injured are still being brought in.

“Clashes between protesters and police are still causing tear gas to reach the hospital,” he said. “We do not know how many more might be injured. Our emergency ward staff are fully mobilized to provide treatment.”

Injured individuals began arriving at the emergency ward from 12:00 PM. Fourteen patients who could not be treated at the hospital have been referred to other facilities.
