Gen-Z protest: One dies amid clashes in Baneswor



KATHMANDU: A protester injured during clashes in New Baneswor has died while undergoing treatment, according to Civil Service Hospital officials.

According to hospital sources, the protester, who had sustained gunshot wounds, passed away during treatment. The individual’s identity has not yet been made public.

More than 100 injured individuals are currently receiving treatment in the hospital. The death comes as tensions continue to escalate in Kathmandu amid ongoing protests led by Nepal’s Gen Z movement.
