Gen-Z protesters rally against govt in Biratnagar



KATHMANDU: Gen-Z youths staged a protest against the government in Biratnagar Metropolitan City, Morang, following the government’s social media restrictions.

The demonstrators gathered at Sansarimai Sthan and marched through parts of the city, raising slogans along the way. Participants carried national flags and placards with messages such as “Down with KP Sharma Oli’s Government” and “KP, Thief, Leave the Country.”

The protesters criticized the government for protecting corruption and undermining democracy, accusing Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s administration of attempting to silence citizens’ voices.
