Gold hits record high of Rs 199,400, silver reaches Rs 2,325



KATHMANDU: Gold prices in the Nepali market soared to a record high on Friday, reaching Rs 199,400 per tola, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.

Silver also climbed to an all-time high, trading at Rs 2,325 per tola, up by Rs 10 from Thursday’s rate of Rs 2,315.

Both precious metals have been on a steady upward trend in recent weeks, driven by global market volatility and strong demand in the domestic market.
