Nepal takes on Saudi Arabia in AFC U-20 Women’s Asian Cup Qualifiers

THIMPU: Nepal will play its second match of the AFC U-20 Women’s Asian Cup Qualifiers today against Saudi Arabia in Thimphu, Bhutan. The match will kick off at 1:45 pm local time at the Changlimithang Stadium.

In their opening match, Nepal drew 1–1 with hosts Bhutan, sharing the points. Saudi Arabia, meanwhile, suffered a heavy 15–0 defeat to North Korea in their first game.

The draw in the opener has dented Nepal’s chances of finishing at the top of the group, especially with a match against strong side North Korea still ahead.

According to tournament rules, only the winners of each group will qualify directly for the Asian Cup, along with the two best runners-up across all groups.
