Cloudy skies and rain expected across Nepal today



KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has predicted cloudy conditions with rainfall in various parts of the country today (Friday), particularly during the afternoon and night.

According to the Division, skies will remain generally cloudy across the country today. Likewise, moderate rainfall is likely in many areas of the hilly and Terai regions of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, and in some areas of the hills and Madhes Province.

There is also a chance of heavy rainfall at one or two locations in the hilly regions of Koshi, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, and parts of the Terai in Lumbini Province.

Similarly, conditions will remain generally cloudy nationwide tonight. Moderate rain is expected in some parts of the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, including areas of Madhes Province.

A few places in the hilly and Terai regions of the remaining provinces may also receive rainfall. Heavy rain is likely at one or two spots in the hilly areas of Koshi and Bagmati provinces.
