Army chopper rescues two stranded in Trishuli River



NUWAKOT: The Nepali Army has successfully rescued two individuals who were stranded in the middle of the Trishuli River in Bidur Municipality following a massive flood.

The rescue was carried out Tuesday morning by an army helicopter after the victims had spent several hours clinging to a tree to save themselves from the surging waters.

According to journalist Ramhari Neupane, the two were in grave danger for an extended period before the army team finally reached them. The dramatic rescue has brought relief to the local community.
