World Cup League-2: Nepal to face Scotland today



KATHMANDU: The Nepali national cricket team will take on Scotland today in its third match of the ICC World Cup League-2 One-Day Tri-series.

The match is scheduled to begin at 3:45 PM (Nepali time) on Sunday at Forthill, Dundee, Scotland.

Nepal, currently unbeaten in the series after securing two consecutive wins, will be aiming for a third straight victory. In their opening match, Nepal defeated the hosts Scotland by one wicket with just one ball to spare.

Scotland, who will be seeking to avenge that narrow defeat, have won one and lost one match in the series so far. They bounced back by defeating the Netherlands by 44 runs.

Nepal, on the other hand, registered a five-wicket win over the Netherlands in their second game of the series.

In the overall League-2 standings, Nepal has played 14 matches, winning 4, losing 8, and sharing points in 2 matches, placing them seventh with 10 points.

Scotland has played 18 matches, winning 10, losing 6, and sharing points in 2 matches, placing them fourth with 22 points.
