NEPSE dips by 12.04 points, erasing previous day’s gains



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) closed lower today (Thursday), dropping 12.04 points (0.45%) to end at 2,661.64, offsetting the previous day’s sharp rise of 62.25 points.

The index began trading at 2,674.7, peaked at 2,687.38, and dipped as low as 2,655.79 during the session. Total daily turnover reached Rs. 11.65 billion, with 30,799,091 shares changing hands from 315 listed companies through 103,319 transactions. The overall market capitalization stood at Rs. 4.42 trillion, while the float market capitalization was Rs. 1.47 trillion.
