Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has released the official foreign exchange rates for Thursday.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is fixed at Rs. 135.43, and the selling rate at Rs. 136.03. The euro is being bought at Rs. 153.95 and sold at Rs. 154.63.

The buying and selling rates for one British pound sterling are Rs. 180.80 and Rs. 181.60, respectively. The Swiss franc is being traded at Rs. 164.37 (buying) and Rs. 165.09 (selling).

Among other major currencies, the buying rate for one Australian dollar is Rs. 87.70, with a selling rate of Rs. 88.09. One Canadian dollar is set at Rs. 98.19 for buying and Rs. 98.63 for selling, while the Singapore dollar stands at Rs. 104.92 (buying) and Rs. 105.39 (selling).

The rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs. 9.45 (buying) and Rs. 9.49 (selling). One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs. 18.74 and sold at Rs. 18.83. The Saudi Arabian riyal is fixed at Rs. 36.11 (buying) and Rs. 36.26 (selling), and the Qatari riyal at Rs. 37.15 (buying) and Rs. 37.32 (selling).

For other regional currencies, the Thai baht stands at Rs. 4.15 (buying) and Rs. 4.16 (selling). The UAE dirham is valued at Rs. 36.87 for buying and Rs. 37.04 for selling.

The Malaysian ringgit is set at Rs. 31.85 (buying) and Rs. 32.09 (selling). One hundred South Korean won is being traded at Rs. 9.73 (buying) and Rs. 9.78 (selling).

The Swedish kronor is set at Rs. 14.11 (buying) and Rs. 14.17 (selling), while the Danish kronor is valued at Rs. 20.63 and Rs. 20.72, respectively.

Meanwhile, the Hong Kong dollar has a buying rate of Rs. 17.45 and a selling rate of Rs. 17.53. The Kuwaiti dinar is being traded at Rs. 441.74 (buying) and Rs. 443.70 (selling), the Bahraini dinar at Rs. 359.20 and Rs. 360.79, and the Omani rial at Rs. 351.77 and Rs. 353.33, respectively.

The exchange rate for one hundred Indian rupees is fixed at Rs. 160.00 for buying and Rs. 160.15 for selling.
