Nidhi urges cadres to strengthen party base and visibility in Madhesh

DHANUSHA: Senior Nepali Congress (NC) leader Bimalendra Nidhi has called on party cadres to strengthen the organizational base of the party and enhance its visibility, particularly at the provincial and local levels.

Speaking at a gathering of NC leaders and activists in Janakpur on Monday, Nidhi stressed the need for a well-structured and active presence of the party in Madhesh Province.

He stressed that a robust provincial framework and stronger coordination at the grassroots level are crucial for the party’s success.

“The lower tiers of the party are vital in building a strong connection with the people,” Nidhi said. “Structural reforms at the grassroots are essential to deepen organizational ties and ensure meaningful outreach.”

Also addressing the gathering, NC Central Joint General Secretary Mahendra Yadav underscored the importance of regular dialogue and internal collaboration to maintain party unity and functionality.

“The strength of the Nepali Congress lies in continuous communication and collective efforts. It is this approach that fosters internal harmony,” Yadav said.

Madhesh Province Assembly member Ram Saroj Yadav spoke on the role NC can play in accelerating development initiatives in the province. He highlighted the need for collective resolve in addressing emerging challenges and advancing the party’s influence in regional development.

Similarly, NC Chief Whip in the Madhesh Province Assembly, Kunwar Kant Jha, highlighted the urgency of expediting developmental works across the region.

Other provincial and district-level leaders also shared their insights on ways to reinforce the party’s grassroots network and enhance its organizational strength in Madhesh.

The meeting concluded with a unified call for a more active, cohesive, and strategically organized party presence to effectively address the aspirations of the people in the province.
