KATHMANDU: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology’s Weather Forecasting Division has reported that westerly and local winds are currently having a partial effect on the weather in the country.
The Division states that the weather is partly to generally cloudy in the hilly areas, while the rest of the country remains partly cloudy to mostly clear.
This afternoon, light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is possible in some areas of the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini Provinces, and in one or two locations elsewhere across the country.
There is also a chance of light rain and snowfall in a few places within the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces.
Tonight, the weather will remain partly cloudy in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali Provinces, while the rest of the country will experience mainly clear skies.
