KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has published the exchange rates for foreign currencies as of today (Saturday).
Today, the exchange rates for foreign currencies, including the US dollar, Australian dollar, Kuwaiti dinar, and Bahraini dinar, have decreased, while the values of the euro, and pound have increased.
According to Nepal Rastra Bank, today the buying rate for 1 US dollar is 138 rupees 70 paisa, and the selling rate is 139 rupees 30 paisa. Yesterday, the buying rate for 1 US dollar was 139 rupees 09 paisa, and the selling rate was 139 rupees 69 paisa.
For the euro, the buying rate today is 150 rupees 49 paisa, and the selling rate is 151 rupees 14 paisa. Yesterday, the buying rate for 1 euro was 150 rupees 02 paisa, and the selling rate was 150 rupees 66 paisa.
Similarly, today the buying rate for 1 British pound is 179 rupees 17 paisa, and the selling rate is 179 rupees 95 paisa. Yesterday, the buying rate for 1 pound was 179 rupees 04 paisa and the selling rate was 179 rupees 81 paisa.
For the Australian dollar, the buying rate today is 87 rupees 40 paisa, and the selling rate is 87 rupees 47 paisa. Yesterday, the buying rate for 1 Australian dollar was 87 rupees 94 paisa, and the selling rate was 88 rupees 32 paisa.
Today, the buying rate for 1 Kuwaiti dinar is 450 rupees 25 paisa, and the selling rate is 452 rupees 20 paisa. Yesterday, the buying rate for 1 Kuwaiti dinar was 451 rupees 33 paisa, and the selling rate was 453 rupees 27 paisa.
Similarly, the buying rate for 1 Bahraini dinar is set at 367 rupees 92 paisa, and the selling rate is 369 rupees 51 paisa. Yesterday, the buying rate for 1 Bahraini dinar was 368 rupees 96 paisa, and the selling rate was 370 rupees 56 paisa.
The Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time based on need.
