Preparations underway for ‘Pokhara Visit Year’ announcement



POKHARA: Pokhara Metropolitan City is gearing up to announce the “Pokhara Visit Year 2025” with an ambitious goal of attracting 2 million tourists.

Mayor Dhanraj Acharya of Pokhara Metropolitan City shared that the official declaration will be made on February 15.

A 1,050-member organizing committee has been established, led by Mayor Acharya.

Additionally, the Mayor will head the Directorate Committee for the event, supported by 43 sub-committees.

“We are working towards the successful launch of Pokhara Visit Year. Ambassadors from various countries will attend the inaugural event,” Mayor Acharya remarked.

Furthermore, the city plans to appoint goodwill ambassadors to promote Pokhara’s tourism internationally.
