KATHMANDU: Westerly winds are currently affecting the country’s weather.

As of Wednesday morning, the weather in the hilly areas is partly cloudy, while mist and fog are prevalent in many places across the Tarai.

These weather conditions have disrupted normal life in the Tarai Madhes.

The rest of the country is experiencing mostly clear skies, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

The Division has issued a warning and advisory for the next 24 hours, starting at 6 am Wednesday.

It states, “There is a possibility of mist and fog in some areas of the Tarai and the Valley in the morning. Necessary precautions are advised, as these conditions may temporarily or partially impact daily life, health, transportation, and aviation.”
