Sharma, Bhusal meet Biplav to explore alternative political bloc



KATHMANDU: Janardan Sharma and Ghanshyam Bhusal held a meeting with Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’, the general secretary of the Communist Party of Nepal, at Harisiddhi in Lalitpur.

Sharma, former deputy general secretary of the CPN-Maoist Centre, and Bhusal, general secretary of the CPN (Unified Socialist), discussed potential alternative political alignments with Biplav.

The secretariat of Biplav stated that the meeting involved general discussions on forming a unified political bloc and strategies for moving forward. No final decisions were taken regarding the structure or direction of the proposed alignment.
