12 stranded trekkers rescued safely from Langtang region



RASUWA: Twelve trekkers stranded in the Langtang region have been rescued safely by the Nepali Army and other security agencies.

Out of a 16-member trekking group from Bhaktapur, four went missing after being swept away by floods. The remaining members were rescued safely and brought to Syafrubesi by the Nepali Army, Nepal Police, and Armed Police Force.

According to police, all rescued individuals have been sent to Kathmandu. The missing trekkers have been identified as Sangeeta Shrestha, Kisan Shrestha, Rabi Shrestha, and Sanskar Shrestha from Bhaktapur.
